Structural Engineer – Design & Supervision Location: Kuwait We are a leading design & build company in Kuwait specializing in high-end villa projects. We are seeking a Senior Structural Engineer with strong design and site experience to join our team. Key Responsibilities: • Lead and manage structural design for luxury villa projects from concept through execution. • Prepare and review detailed structural drawings, calculations, and specifications. • Proficiency in Revit is a must for structural modeling and coordination. • Conduct quantity surveying (pre- and post-construction) to ensure cost accuracy and control. • Supervise structural works on-site, ensuring adherence to design intent, safety standards, and quality requirements. • Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, and contractors to deliver integrated and efficient design solutions. • Conduct inspections, issue site reports, and provide technical guidance. • Ensure compliance with Kuwait Municipality regulations and international codes. • Stay up to date with local and international formwork systems and recommend advanced solutions. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering. • Minimum 10 years of proven experience in structural design and supervision, preferably with high-end villa or residential projects. • Advanced knowledge of structural analysis and design software (ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000, STAAD Pro, AutoCAD, Revit Structure). • Strong experience in quantity survey tasks before and after construction. • Demonstrated ability to manage and supervise construction on-site. • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and team coordination skills. Requirements: • Kuwait Society of Engineers (KSE) membership. • Certified as a Design Engineer. • Valid Kuwait driving license and own car. • Knowledge of both local and international market standards and technologies in updated formwork systems. Preferred: • Previous work experience in Kuwait or GCC. • Familiarity with luxury villa construction methods and materials. • Membership in additional international engineering bodies (ASCE, ICE, or equivalent).
