Job description A Front Office Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a the hotel's front office, ensuring staff perform duties correctly and providing excellent customer service. Key responsibilities include managing and training staff, handling guest complaints, coordinating with other departments, and ensuring smooth front-desk operations like check-in and check-out. This leadership role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and management skills. Key responsibilities Staff management: Hire, train, and schedule front office staff, such as receptionists and guest service agents. Monitor employee performance and ensure they adhere to high standards of customer service. Guest services: Ensure guests receive exceptional service from the moment they arrive. This includes managing their inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally. Operational oversight: Supervise daily operations, including check-in and check-out processes, to ensure they are efficient and seamless. Manage and maintain standard operating procedures. Coordination: Work with other departments to ensure a smooth and coordinated experience for all guests. Administrative tasks: Handle administrative duties, which can include managing budgets, handling lost and found items, and generating reports. Strategic planning: Develop and implement strategies to improve the guest experience and operational efficiency.
